I have been working with Kendall of On an Inhale for almost 2 months now trying to learn better food practices. She has given me great advice on what to cook and how to treat my body better.

One of my favorite yummies I have found from her is Green Smoothies. I have been adding kale or spinach  to my smoothies to get essential nutrients. Kale is a superfood with so many health benefits it is insane and it also is delicious! It is high in fiber, iron, calcium, Vitamin K (which is said to protect against cancer), and is an anti-inflammatory. What’s not to love! I have tried kale chips but wasn’t loving it, and still wanted to incorporate the veggies in my diet regularly.

My favorite smoothie right now has only 4 ingredients. Chobani yogurt, coconut water, frozen mango and kale, and it is delicious! I can switch the mango out with any type of fruit for a different flavor, such as rasberries, strawberries, or blueberries. This is a great for breakfast or a snack, is super easy and has been my go to for a healthy and sweet treat.
